What is a buckwheat pillow?
A buckwheat pillow is filled with natural hulls rather than foam or fiber. The hulls shift into place as you settle, creating firm, highly adjustable orthopedic support with continuous natural airflow.
How do I use it?
Start by adjusting the fill until the pillow supports your head and neck in neutral alignment. We recommend removing a small amount of hulls first, then fine-tuning over a few nights. When lying down, gently push the hulls into the curve of your neck.
How do I clean it?
Both the inner and outer covers can be easily removed and machine washed. The buckwheat hull filling itself must be kept dry and stored separately during cleaning. With normal care, your pillow is designed to stay fresh and supportive for years.

Is this small enough for a carry-on?
Absolutely. The pillow measures 10" x 14" and weighs under 2 lbs. It is designed to fit easily into backpacks, totes, or carry-on suitcases without taking up valuable space. It also comes with a protective carrying bag to keep it clean while traveling.
Is this better than a U-shaped travel pillow?

Can I wash the travel pillow?
Travel can get messy, but cleaning is easy. Simply unzip the outer Bamboo cover and machine wash it.
Note: Do not wash the buckwheat hulls. If the pillow needs refreshing after a long trip, just air out the inner bag in sunlight.
Is the height adjustable?
Yes. Just like our full-sized pillows, the Travel Model features a durable YKK zipper. You can remove hulls to make it flatter (great for use as a lumbar cushion) or keep it full for maximum neck support.
Does it come with a pillowcase?
